How much hCG should I take daily? What strength should I buy? How much diluent do I need to add to the freeze dried hCG?

All common questions... Dr Simeons noted using 125 IU in Pounds & Inches, though I've personally used 150IU with good results, and some clinics go as high as 250 IU per day.

My kits - are based on the 150IU per day, and a daily volume of 0.2-0.5cc. The daily dose syringes are 0.5cc to make measuring this amount very accurate. (thinner barrel allows more precise measuring even at these small volumes) You can use a higher daily dose - but when using my kits make sure you don't go over 10cc to reconstitute or it won't fit into the sterile vial.

Some online clinics have people injecting 1cc per day - this is not warranted. Unlike some medications, hCG at higher concentrations does not burn, nor does a larger daily volume seem to have any additional weight loss benefits.  In my opinion, there is no need for the additional volume & resulting irritation to muscle or soft tissue.

Another frequent question - how much should I buy?  FIRST decide how much weight you want to lose, THEN decide if you want to order everything needed to achieve your goal at once, or if you want to "test the waters" with a single cycle of 26-43 days. The choice is yours alone.

IF wanting to order the "whole enchilada"...mmm, enchiladas... a good rule of thumb is a 10-15% REDUCTION IN TOTAL BODY WEIGHT EACH ROUND. If you're 300 lbs, expect to lose 30-45 lbs your first round.  Second round you'd start at approx. 255-270, so 10-15% loss 2nd round should be in the range of 25.5 - 40 lbs.  Of course losses depend on the individual, but that's a rough guide when you estimate how many rounds you might want to do.

Take the number of days you want to be on the protocol, multiply it by 150 IU to get the total amount of hCG international units you'll need to do your cycle. Then when ordering you'll know how much to order.

Example: I want to do a 40 day cycle... 40 x 150IU = 6000 IU total for the cycle. To get the 6000, I can either use 1 5000IU amp + 1 1500 IU amp, 3 2000IU amps, or 4 1500IU amps.  Then, always Mr Frugal... I see which of those will be the most economical to purchase. Note - due to reduced pricing in 3 or 5 packs, sometimes it's most economical to buy the 5000's, especially if you're ordering more than one cycle at one time.  Even when you reach your 40 day limit and trash the remaining 20 days, that can cost less than 3 2000's or 4 1500's in some cases. So dust off the old calculator and see what will work best for you!

MIXING THE hCG AND TRANSFERRING INTO THE STERILE 10CC VIAL

No matter which brand hCG you buy (HuCog & Organon have both worked well) chances are the most volume the container the hCG comes in will hold is about 3ml. (ml is the same as cc)  I suggest adding 1ml to the hCG to reconstitute, then transferring all into your sterile vial, and adding the additional volume required to complete your mix based on the volume you've decided to use.  One more thing - the hCG will come with a 1cc vial of water. Throw it away & use the diluent included in your mixing kit, don't mix them together. Note: Make sure it's the water NOT the hCG you throw away!

NOTE: Due to particulate glass issues with Organon, I suggest the HuCog in the rubber stopped vials.  A little safer - and also cost a little less than the Organon.

To clairfy - once you know your mix, put all but 1ml into the 10cc sterile vial, then use the remaining 1ml of diluent to reconstitute the hCG, transfer all into the 10cc sterile vial, lightly mix & refrigerate.
Note that insulin is standardized, a constant number of units per 1cc - thus, the dosing syringes are typically marked in units instead of volume. 10 units = 0.1cc, 20 units = 0.2cc, 30 units = 0.3cc and so on. SINCE hCG CONCENTRATION VARIES DEPENDING ON WHAT MIX YOU USE, GO BY VOLUME ON THE SYRINGE.  mL and cc are interchangable.
